This always struck me as a much better book to adapt to film than I, Robot, which was a bunch of short stories.

I totally agree. I thought I, Robot sucked, mostly due to the writing. (Apologies to everyone else who worked on the movie). The story was Hollywood-ized [if you’ll pardon the neologism] to it’s detriment..Sad.  Asimov deserves better.

If Mike Flanagan wasn’t totally absorbed in the Stephen King universe I’d love to see what he could do with Caves of Steel…though much of it’s story beats will seem overly familiar to fans of The Expanse.
