The smallest of the Faded Star series, it is a visual reflection of the unease and excitement I felt at jumping forth into the [for me] new world of so-called fine art painting.
Joe, I can't thank you enough for your support and kind words about my artwork over the years. That particular piece has always meant a lot to me, so to know that it connects with people makes my day! Thanks again, and here's hoping the images I'm planning to get into this coming year will continue to interest and stir your emotions and intellect. I'm certainly looking forward to doing them ;-)
This has always been one of my personal favorites. It never ceases to invoke an overwhelming physical feeling like I have just stepped off a high dive platform. I always have sensation of air rushing by as well as something akin to hurtling down a long express elevator.
One of the joys of viewing Michael’s work is how each piece makes me feel something, whether emotional or physical or both.
