I have always been intrigued by this one Michael. Not sure if you intended it or not but the use of illumination from the cauldron’s fire creates, in my mind at least, the appearance of a dagger. It clearly is but the opening of the front of the witch’s garb, as indicated by her belly button. However I only saw that secondarily. My first thought was that you had drawn a large dagger! This is especially true because the illumination under her arm looks like the cross guard of the weapon. Anyway I always enjoy looking at your art to see what it might have to say to me at any particular time!
I was so thrilled to have your art on the cover of my first book!
