H. Beam Piper is best remembered for the Fuzzies of Zarathustra. My work on those books began in 1976 when Ace, guided by Jerry Pournelle, repackaged the two original novels Little Fuzzy and Fuzzy Sapiens.
Fuzzy Bones, written by William Tuning, was intended as the third book in the series, but a lost manuscript by Piper was discovered in 1982 and later published as Fuzzies and Other People.

I didn't read the non-piper Fuzzy's until after I read Piper's third book, so I never really got into them, but I did love the covers.
