
This window was suggested by shapes at the Whitby Abbey, Yorkshire England. (Nothing to do with the painting, but Whitby is where Count Dracula landed when he arrived in England...)
The architecture at the abbey has inspired many paintings in the Portals subset of my personal work. These paintings visualize what it takes to overcome obstacles in the search for truth via intuitive experience.
