Cosmic horror meets the bitter cold of the Antarctic in this chilling preliminary concept for At the Mountains of Madness.
Michael explored different designs for the star-shaped artifacts found by the Miskatonic expedition. From the iced over tentacle to the nighttime snow flurry that serves as backdrop, this variation on the star stone uniquely captures the setting of the H.P. Lovecraft classic.
