Apologies if this has been asked before: In your time doing book illustrations, you worked on many classics. Was there ever a case where the publisher sent you a manuscript, you read it and thought, "Well this is pretty lousy!"? No need to name names :) I was just curious if it ever happened, and whether you turned down the assignment, or went ahead and found a way to make it work?
